it is a schema (cf. Shank as opposed to Anderson): the kinds of
expectations that are mobilised and that direct your processing of the
context. When you go to the post office and someone ask you for a change,
you are more likey to take this request at its face value (re: s/he wants
the money to make a phone call) rather than for a pick-up line (which it
might have indeed been).
