I'm curious as to how people are dealing with proprietary and competition
sensitive kinds of information in such studies, since we seem to have entered an
era of hyper-competitiveness in online education. For example, if I nominate an
online course for inclusion in such a study, who's to say that the results of
the study won't result in a program that competes for my students either
directly or indirectly?
Just a hypothetical question, of course, but one that should generate some
interesting discussion. :-)
