as soon as you walk into a learning environment of any kind, there is a
structure present: rules of communication, stakes behind the rules set up,
forces which determine individuals' behaviours. In an educational
environment as they are nowadays most of it you cannot change. But
something can be changed: i.e. the ability to move. THere is never more or
less structure. But what there often is not, is learners' potential to act
within structures other than those organised for them, on their behalf by
the ever so thoughtful and ready to help teacher.
