Ania, you have dodged the original premise set by Crispin of elitism in
higher education being associated with prestigious distinctions, in a public
sense. In that sense, the non-elite are the majority and the elite are the
minority, which has an original status of bourgeois advantage over the
majority, non-elite, proletariat.
