A community of relflective practitioners, attempting to create a reflexive
practice can only constitute as such if hey continue to be reflective and
reflexive in their practice. Yes, I agree with Ania, this is verydifficult
and there are many reasons why teachers do not engage in the process. Much
has to do with the status we accord teachers and the expectations of
teachers in control over their own professionalism. Some of has to do with
the ways teacher educators and researchers have behaved towards eachers.

I do not think that these issues are "theory free" . However I feel that
theory should be grounded and that learning should be situated (see Lave J
" Situated Learning; Legitimate Peripheral Participation", wenger, E CUP
1994).

Do they? Is this true of the telephone and the postal service? Aina ... I
