Several years ago I read a book on Learning by I. Shah, (a Sufi
Scholar). In that book he wrote that learning consisted of the
following: `sloganization combined with alternating periods of stress
and relaxation.' Of course a balance between these states is necessary
if one is maximize potential for learning . . .too much/little stress,
or too much/little relaxation will not lead to learning.
