We are developing an international online course. A big problem now is where
to look for models of wise investing/money management on the part of
individuals/groups and - in particular - communities.
If you know sources of this kind of info, or have suggestions yourself, we
would be most grateful.
"Self-Empowerment thru Wise Investing Course"
We are going to be faced with much resistance, apathy, and low self-esteem
on the part of the students. To counter this we are going to use bilateral
tactics. Modeling. We want to get close, interesting and personal.
My first assignment will be to have student groups investigate/report on
famous/ individuals and groups / Companies/etc of investors.- W Buffet, the
Grameen Bank, Loan Circles, etc.
Classes will be held here in Canada, but also in Europe, and China. So we
are looking at xcultural resources. Most of the students are female, and we
intend to emphasise leading thru value, ethics and principles.
One aim of the goals is to developed tools to assist groups like the First
Nations here to gain control over their tribal investment funds. If you have
suggestions, please post them with our thanks.
We do not even know where to start looking for such info. Most of the
research will be done online, but not necessarily.
