Dave,

I am working with Rachel on the Virtual Learning Space project. I had a look at
TAPPED IN (www.tappedin.org) and wondered around as a guest.

The environment is really impressive. The interface design is very good. I
particularly like the analogy with real buildings and real spaces, as they can
help users to situate themselves and feel 'safe' within the virtual
environment.

It is good to see that there is an organisational committment in providing a
good infrastructure to users as well.

I was wondering how many people are actively using this space. Is there an
induction course to help users to familiarize themselves with the environment?
How are teachers convinced to use it? Do you have any mechanism to evaluate the
 use of the space?
