I understand your point but this can be used to re-assure teachers/educators
that technology will not replace their skills. Technology does not increase
achievement (they are right!)--!effective! use of technology does. This
"effective" part come from persons trained in the kinds of skills we have
been teaching teachers (at least those in primary and secondary levels) for
many years.
The use of technology is not about achievement but rather about
institutional change -- how to involve our talented teachers in the design
and implementation of new learning environments.
