The point I was making in referring to Clark's meta-analysis was this -
Instructional Technology tends to mistake the technology for the
instruction. Information is not instruction, neither is animation or other
bells and whistles. There has to be an instructional reason for using any
instructional element, not just make the truck delivering the instruction
prettier.
