LEARNING TO CHOOSE ~ CHOOSING TO LEARN
--------------------------------------
ASCILITE 2000 focuses on the changing paradigms of learning and the emphasis
on the individual making choices to maximise their learning opportunities.
To achieve this in a technology-based environment requires a range of skills
and knowledge, brought together by the people of computers in learning. To
provide each of you with a focus for presentation of your research,
development or teaching endeavours, we have identified five conference
themes:
* Theorists and Researchers
* Designers and Developers
* Teachers and Learners
* Technicians and Implementors
* Managers and Administrators
We now invite you to submit details of the work you would like to present at
ASCILITE 2000. You may wish to address the above themes specifically or
focus on the range of issues currently confronting technology in education.
More details will appear shortly on the conference web site and in printed
materials that will be forwarded to all ASCILITE members and institutional
representatives.
