Usability Analyst for Interactive Media

The Access Testing Centre (http://www.testingcentre.com), is Australia's
leading independent software testing centre. We assist clients achieve
quality throughout the product development lifecycle. We provide an
integrated set of services covering technical, human and business
requirements, which ensure a product's effectiveness in its target market.

We are experiencing considerable growth in demand for our services and are
seeking an experienced usability analyst to join our growing team. The
position offers a stimulating and challenging opportunity to be involved in
the testing of the widest range of products from all industry sectors.

ATC is seeking a high calibre person with experience in user-centred
software design and usability to:
· Run focus groups for market feasibility, user needs analysis and concept
testing,
· Conduct expert and user-based usability evaluations
· Participate in the development of research methods
· Evaluate web/e-commerce related software and sites
· Develop ATC's product and services in line with current research and
practice.

To undertake the role you will need:

Required
· Experience with user testing methods and techniques
· Experience in a commercial environment
· Excellent written and communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Tertiary level qualification

Desirable
· Masters degree in a Human Factors related field
· 3+ years work experience in a relevant industry
· Experience in website authoring/prototyping/testing
· Experience in determining requirements, writing design specifications

A generous salary is offered dependant on qualifications and experience and
has a performance based component.
