Subject: [ifets] Student reactions to web-based learning

Hi:
    My university is initiating a massive push for integrating web-based
technology in course offerings. I have experience using the technology for
"web-enhanced" courses -- those which meet face-to-face and contain a web
component. I have found students generally respond favorably to this.
    I currently am taking an asynchronous web course and have mixed
reactions to it. Can anyone point me to literature on students' evaluation
of web-based learning, especially pertaining to asynchronous learning
environments? Thanks in advance for your help.
