I would generally agree, but I'd also say that sometimes the content of
that feedback can be instantiated in the technology using intelligent
software, obviating the need for human intervention. This isn't true in
every case, but it certainly is in some.

Sad, but true. On the other hand, I don't always need to attend the
theater in the company of the director in order to understand the message.
