We have great interest in practical application of web's capabilities to
collaborative, self-paced, as opposed to instructor led, training in
business setting. We look for web based training technology and methodology
to achieve the following objectives :

1- dramatically reduce instructor cost (presently over $41 billion annually
in the US)
2- transform training time into performance time (presently 1.7 billion
labor hours are spent in training annually in the US).
3- engage and sustain the interest of the trainee by creating an emotional
bond between the trainee and the content.
4- produce measurable results - transfer of knowledge and increased
performance on the job.
5- enable rapid enterprise- wide intervention

We work closely with the Performance Improvement Technology School at
Baylor University and have developed software systems and methodologies that
are starting to scratch the surface of these issues. Because of our R&D
focus on intelligent learning systems, I was intrigued with your reported
involvement in "developing interactive learning systems enhanced with
intelligent assistance [and] their practical implementation". I would
,therefore, appreciate it very much if you could tell us more about your
work. Perhaps, we could find a mutually satisfying grounds for progressing
our agendas.
