A little bit of stuff there! Also, if you go onto the web and look at the Virtual Library (can't remember the URL so you will need to do a search) I remember seeing some stuff available there too.
Also, check out the FERL web site for additional maths resources at
ferl.becta.org.uk

Dear Ifets forum members
Does anyone know of a web site which provides fairly basic maths
tuition.
I am a GEMISIS 2000 http://www.gemisis.co.uk PhD student at the
University of Salford. I am researching the learning styles of
Occupational Health & Safety(OSH) postgraduates studying by distance learning
via the Internet. I am currently running a pilot study using two
modules from an MSc in OSH. The module which I am about to put on-
line includes some work on probability. The concepts are explained
in the text, however, some students may need additional support. I would like to be
able include a web site to which students who are struggling with the
concepts of statistics could turn.
The pilot study comprises a small cohort of 14 students.
As this is a research project the web site is restricted to these students
and is not generally available or for commercial gain. Therefore any
links could be restricted if requested.
I am wondering if this may fit in with any research being conducted
elsewhere and would be willing to evaluate the use of any sites made
available. Obviously any materials used will be fully acknowledged.
I may be asking the impossible but is anyone of aware of such a
resource?
If anyone can help can you please contact me directly at
