Hello Vladimir. Most web based instructional software has components for
direct contact, including discussion streams, spaces for uploading and
downloading of assignments, chat groups, etc. When I create webcourses, I
also build in online guest forums, online research. etc. Email can be used
as backup for private communications between students and instructors.

If you go to http://www.polytech. edu (Polytechnic University in New York),
you can look at their I-CARE System as an example. Hope this is helpful to
