Hi IFETS
I am a Futures Education & Training Analyst with the United States Army Training & Doctrine Command at Ft. Monroe, Virginia. As Chief of the Concepts Branch, Futures Training Division, it is my charter to develop long range training concepts out to abou
t 2020. Work activities include trend line analysis in variety of disciplines to develop conceptual models of the army's future training system. Current primary effort is to determine training ramifications associated with the "Army After Next" initiat
ive.
See major paradigm shift in military in not too distant future as technology allows us to get to performance by passing what we now regard as education or training.....AI, AI tutoring systems, and distributive technologies all play an ever increasing ro
le in Army training in the future.
As far as academic background, I attended, New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology, Ohio State University and New Mexico State University where I completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education. Also hold a Masters of Education Degree
in guidance and counseling from Sul Ross University. Worked for the Army for 29 years in various training and training development capacities with the U.S. Army Engineers School, U.S. Army Signal School, U.S. Army Training Support Center, U.S. Army Air
Defense School, and HQ Training and Doctrine Command. .
