As suggested, a short introduction about myself:
Currently, I'm doing an MSc by Research at the Artificial
Intelligence Dept. of the University of Edinburgh, on a
project about intelligent support for Interactive
Argumentation in Education. I became interested in the
field of ITS three years ago during my MSc course in
AI at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Specific interests: Argumentation, Human-Computer Dialogue,
Dynamically Generated Hypertext, Models of Dialogue Structure,
Student Modelling.
I think the field of ITS has become mature enough over the
years to warrant applications on a larger scale than
university prototypes, and I hope this forum will help
establish ways to overcome limitations of past generations
of educational software.
