Works for me... I have two files that may make
good starting points. I used them in a week-long
Workshop for Tech. Educators/Trainers and various
other majors and teachers.
http://user.icx.net/~pgantt/development/laboratory/webdesignanddevelopmentsamplesindex.htm
http://user.icx.net/~pgantt/development/laboratory/rubricexamplespage.htm
I personally do not like Java pages that load slowly.
I prefer a plainer faster loading page for accessibility
for all. (ADA model). Good web design/course design
tips usually gels well with a plainer approach for
various home users (lowest common denominator types).
If anyone would like to add to my rudimentary start to sources
please email me your links, urls, a brief description and
I will add them to these sample files. TIA.
As our students/trainees use say laptops (which are becoming
the weapon of choice for some) our design techniques must
adjust. Quite a few academic institutions are adopting some
sort of laptop usage option.
Just some small thoughts.
It's up to you Dr. Kinser... great start to a forum thus far.
Great variety of people, talented all.
My best,
P.
