'Another problem I have with the logic of this discussion centers
around the term, "individual learning styles." To my way of thinking,
the individual learning style question cannot be separated from a
consideration of the individual's total psychological disposition.
When educators isolate the learning style consideration of a learner,
they, in effect, miss the bigger picture.'
Muhammad B.

I agree with Muhammad B. when he cites his 'problem' with the
'individual learning styles' issue. Classifying human beings is a
dangerous business. I totally agree that we should acknowledge the
existence of learning styles and design learning experiences that
allow multiple ways of learning to take place. It is more a question
of providing 'choice'. The beauty of life is change. We are in
constant change, constant development. Providing individuals with the
ability to critically reflect upon their experiences, being
conscious of their learning process is still the most important
thing, in my opinion.
Therefore, using new technologies just makes
sense if it means more flexibility to allow different experiences to
take place, individually and in a 'social' context.
