Dear listserv subscriber:

Are you an educator using an electronic
whiteboard in your classroom (the tangible
electronic whiteboard, not the virtual
whiteboard found in conferencing
software)? If so, we solicit your
comments on how you are using this
technological device. This is our second
request. We are seeking narrative evidence
of how the electronic whiteboard is used
in the classrooms of higher education.
This is bona fide research. We have
absolutely no affiliation with
manufacturers or these devices. The
researchers have published extensively on
the subject of instructional technology
and learning for several years.

Here’s how to participate: copy and paste
the questions below into a new e-mail
directed to directed to mnmk-lws@nich-nsunet.nich.edu.
(PLEASE DO NOT “REPLY” TO YOUR LISTSERV.)
Please answer as many of the questions
below as are appropriate for your
classroom. Please note that all questions
are open-ended. Some can be answered with
a word or a number; others may require
most extensive response. Some questions
call for a "yes-no" response, but feel
free to elaborate on any answers. We are
interested in your explanations.

To ensure that your comments are included
in our analysis, please e-mail your
answers by August 12, 1999. We respect
your anonymity as a participant and will
not associate your e-mail name with your
responses and will not contact you in any
other way.
