Hello Ifets Community,
It is good to post some quotes related to teaching, when the discussions
regarding Martin Owen's paper will begin on July the 12th.
Stephen Brookfield has said --- We teach what we like to learn and the
reason many people go into teaching is vicariously to re-experience the
primary joy experienced the first time they learned something they loved.
and Now, in the words of K. Patricia Cross --- The task of the excellent
teacher is to stimulate "apparently ordinary" people to unusual effort.
The tough problem is not identifying winners: it is in making winners out
of ordinary people. That is really a teaching all about!!
The second one is the motto of Ifets forum, which is full of expertise and
talents in different fields of education, technology and telecommunications.
Sincerely
Arun Tripathi
