Hi,

I am a grad student doing research on the introduction of the
Internet into primary and secondary schools, basically ages six
to eighteen. As part of the U.S. E-Rate legislation, all schools
have been required to file technology plans and, once approved,
the schools get money for various technology related purposes.
One of the required sections is ethics / acceptable use. I have
reviewed many of these from my state of Kansas and I am starting
to see some trends. What I am looking for now are some acceptable
use policies that are considered model policies to compare to
what I already have. From what I have seen so far, there is
the possibility of a serious problem and I would like to see
it discussed. Thanks.

wjr
