I have finallt had time to look at the all the postings from over the past
two weeks. I was very interested in the discussion about standards or
criteria for effective online courses. I was surprised, however, that no
one brought up issues related to student learning styles. We know that
online courses offer the possibility of providing learning activities in
multiple media and that has a better chance of meeting the needs of the
learner. However, what has been done to look at tailoring online learning
activities to meet the needs of students with different learning styles - if
you believe in learning styles.

I have searched high and low for some guidance in this area. Do you know of
any references?
