I am a lurker of reasonably long standing but I have decided the time has
come for me to make a reasoned and considered contribution. And next time I
participate I will make that contribution. In the mean time this is what I
have come up with...
I have come to realise that to ensure academic immortality you have to come
up with a theory or at least coin a phrase. Coming up with a theory seems
like hard work so I reckon I'll have a crack at getting a few words in the
academic lexicon. (with apologies to Malcom K and any others)
The area related to learning by gender ambivalent adults with the name of
Andrew ... Andewandroandragogy
A related, theory about Andrew's astonishment at finding out there is a
theory about him
... Andewandroandra-agog-ogogy
The area related to how children learn about the effects of kicking
vegetables
... Paedapedapumkinagogy
When these terms come into general use (as I'm sure they will) remember who
came up with them. By the way, when referencing, the name is Nichol with
one "L" and no "s". Immortality awaits.
