Greetings IFETS Community and Prof. Wiles,
Though late, I would like to announce, International conference on
Technology and Distance Education, which is going to be held in Wyndham
Resort and Spa *Fort Lauderdale, Florida, June 10 - 12, 1999.
The conference is entitled as 'Building Bridges Through Technology and
Distance Education'. The conference will offer workshops, exhibits, and
keynote presentation, as well as the opportunity for a variety of tours
and events in the greater Fort Lauderdale/Miami area.
The Conference is sponsored by Association for Educational Communications
and Technology(AECT at <http://www.aect.org>, Universidad Nacional
Abierta(UNA), Venezuela and Universidad Estatal a Distancia(UNED), Costa
Rica and organized by Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale,
Florida and The Inter-American Distance Education Consortium(CREAD),
