I have been reminded that the basics too must be addressed.
The pictures I framed for you in my holistically successful life in the
environment I described would achieve the results we desire. However,
if I fear for my physical, psychological, emotional or spiritual life, or that
of my family, I will revert to a state all too quickly where I may not think of
others first. As I grow, my reversion becomes less and less likely, but
because it has happened to me, I know it can happen and I must work
against it.
The peole you want to bring together, you must ensure you are watching
for signs that their basic physical, psychological, emotional or spiritual
existence is -- within their perspective -- threatened without hope. To the
degree that you are a part of restoring that hope your's and their lives
will be entertwined and the web site can be effectual. To the degree
you (we?) cannot lessen the perceived threat without hope, the
existence of each and all of us is threatened, and the web sites become
memories instead of reflections.
