Yes Wendy, I think you are missing something here, first I'm sorry I don't
know what CMC is so maybe I'm out in left field somewhere.
If we truly want to communicate with others we will show them the courtesy
of not putting up barriers to that communication. It is really easy to
check our spelling and pick up typos prior to sending out a message. Why be
a test to others by sending out sloppy, poorly edited writing when it is so
easy, as educated people, to check our work prior to hitting the send
button?
I don't think Ruddy was asking for scholarly work on the list but just
postings that were proofed before being sent.
