I too enjoyed the slide show. It's viewing is worthwhile. I am interested
in the "Forum" technology described which is a technology that permits
asynchronous collaboration. Where can we learn more about this and similar
technologies?

Hello all!

it encourages insructors to put even more emphasis than usual on
PRESENTATION of material, rather than on encouraging students to be more
active learners through collaborative, constructivist learning activities.

Thanks very much, William, for sharing this page (and these pages, as a
boomerang effect) with us. I did not know whether I agreed or desagreed
with either of you at the time, but your "slide show" (which, fortunately
is on ONE page rather than one page per slide) made the things clearer, and
i reply here:
(1) to thank you for it;
(2) to recommend it to our list-sharers.
