The first thing we have to assure is the $100 course you suggest might be
used as the heart of a University level course be worthy. if it is noncredit
as you say, then being unaccredited, it has no way of being certified worthy.
What would you suggest here...student acclaim and satisfaction as the
criterion for qualification?
Second, the benefit would be in the collegiality. Noncredit instructors tend
to be heavy on experience as opposed to theory. Tenured professors generally
the reverse. both may benefit, and ultimately the student by having theory
practiced and practice's patterns theorized.
finally, five universities have a better chance of filling a class than one.
The specialization we see more often necessary would be served.
