Subject: [IFETS-DISCUSS] On The Horizon journal: Articles sought on "Web and future of higher education"

Dear colleagues

The "On the Horizon" journal (ISSN 1074-8121) is seeking articles
discussing the impact of the web on higher education in general
and the emerging, evolving, web, on the future of higher education.

Both, longer articles (up to 5000 words) and shorter articles
(between 1000 to 2000 words) are welcome.

The editors are interested in those papers that would influence post
secondary decision makers. It is important to note that the audience
of the journal includes decision makers such as presidents of universities,
deans, government officials, provosts, policy analysts, training officers,
and vice-presidents. Therefore, the articles are expected to have the
caliber of the magazines that publish "public intellectuals".

The articles should be concise and to-the-point. Loosely constructed
articles will be returned to the authors for rewriting, without review
process.
