Dear colleagues,
Many thanks to all of you who participated and "listened" to the discussion.
CLOSURE
The discussion was to run from 19-28th May with summing up to be done 29-30 May. As it is a global forum, international time zones are difficult to manage, so I have let the discussion run on for a few days. But it is time to close the formal discussion and summarise. Obviously, I would welcome any informal discussion or personal email from you.
SURVEY
Before I sum up I would like to invite you to help with some feedback. For me any experience either learning or teaching can be enhanced with some individual reflection.
I have created a 5 minute - mini survey on
http://www25.brinkster.com/verhaart/ in the section Feedback | IFETS/DEANZ Discussion list.
(Just a reminder Brinkster is a free public server.)
On the welcome page select
*Research ID = IFETS/DEANS
*Password = june
*Unique identifier = an identifier you make up that allows you to access your record later. Try to think of an easily remembered and anonymous one which is not likely to be chosen by anyone else.
SURVEY RESULTS
As the survey is database driven, the results can be automatically generated. I will email the list when I switch the mode from Active to Result summary, and these will be accessible using the researchId/Password/Unique Identifier used to enter your data.
