On the Horizon is the strategic planning resource for education professionals in the
international post secondary and life-long learning arena. An environmental scanning
journal, On the Horizon covers corporate universities, e-learning, private for-profit
degree granting institutions as well as the traditional university. Areas include the
business of education delivery, content and certification, as well as rules and
regulations in areas such as institutions and intellectual property.
On the Horizon presents a scholarly approach where footnotes and references inform
rather than validate. On the Horizon is designed to meet the needs of creative
professionals.
On the Horizon seeks to inform educators about the challenges that they will face in a
changing world and the steps that they can take to meet these challenges.
On the Horizon provides an insight into how the changing face of technology is making it
possible for educational institutions to form new relationships across geographic and
cultural boundaries.
On the Horizon is a blend of professional analysis, peer reviewed articles and reviews
designed to inform the decision maker as to what may be beyond the current issues but
which may impact today’s decisions.
