Media and Technology for Human Resource Development (ISSN: 0971-1848)
The aim of Media and Technology for Human Resource Development (MTHRD) is to
provide an interdisciplinary forum to discuss and debate the theories and
applications of educational and training technologies in all sectors and
levels of education for the development of human resources, both within and
outside the classroom context. MTHRD is a scholarly vehicle of communication
for people in Academics and HRD Managers in Business and Industry dealing
with improvement of human performance.
Started in 1987 as a Print only journal, it is undergoing changes to be soon
available online. However, the print version will still continue to be
available for libraries and those who do not have access to the Internet.
Volume 14 is currently under printing.
MTHRD welcomes submissions relating to but not limited to: Assessment of
Learner Performance, Computer-Mediated Communication,
Cooperative/Collaborative Learning Environments, Cultural Issues in
Educational System development, Didactic/Pedagogical Issues and
Teaching/Learning Strategies, Distance Education/Learning, Distributed
Learning Environments, Educational Technology Systems, Educational
Multimedia, Human Resource Development, Human-Computer Interface (HCI)
Issues, Hypermedia Systems/Applications, Industry and Education, Intelligent
Learning/Tutoring Environments, Interactive Learning Environments, Knowledge
Management, Methodologies for Development of Educational Technology Systems,
Network-Based Learning Environments, Online Education/e-learning, Programme
Evaluation, Simulations for Learning, Web Based Instruction/Training, and
other related areas.
Contributions are invited in any of the four sections of MTHRD: (i) Main
Papers: consisting of blind peer reviewed scholarly articles ;(ii) Doctoral
Research: reporting synopsis of doctoral research work completed; (iii)
Research Notes: about on-going research projects, preliminary finding, etc.;
and (iv) Book Reviews.
MTHRD considers manuscripts that have not been published or are not being
considered for publication in any other journal. Manuscripts accepted for
publication become the copyright of All India Association for Educational
Technology (AIAET).By submitting their articles, author(s) undertake(s) that
the paper is their original contribution, and has not been published or
submitted to any other journal. Authors also acknowledge that AIAET has the
right to publish, distribute, archive, and retrieve their material. Authors
retain the right to use their own material in a book written or edited by
them or for classroom purposes only.
