Maybe we can learn some lessons from a technology that is 5000 years =

Walter Ong wrote a seminal book 'Orality and Literacy', about the =
transition from oral culture to writing culture. It is easy to read and =
provides a framework for thinking about how technology might have an =
impact on thinking and learning.
