JianWei Zhang,
I am very interested in your question. I have been researching on the
relationship between learning theories and computer technology research.
From what I have read so far, research on computer technology in education
seems a bit messy. There is a much stronger knowledge base of learning than
technology. With all the power technology may have we are till dealing with
the extremely dynamic human productivities. I wonder if and how technology
will change the way people learn. To me, technology is like any other
man-made power that has only distanced people from each other deep down while
bringing people physically closer. I believe the birth of learning science
is as certain as a cloned human. I am just not sure about where it would
take us. If Intelligent Tutor could replace teachers, why would not replace
students? My question is how do we keep the balance between science and
humanity?
