Network Professional Association Presents the Awards for
Professionalism 2003 at NetWorld+Interop, Las Vegas
NPA Honors Individuals for Excellence in the Networking
Industry
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA ? March 27, 2003. The Network
Professional Association (NPA) today announced a call for
entries for the organization's second annual Awards for
Professionalism. The awards program, in cooperation with
NetWorld+Interop, honors individuals for their outstanding
achievements within the network computing industry. The
Awards for Professionalism winners will be announced at an
award ceremony that takes place at NetWorld+Interop 2003
Las Vegas, held April 27 to May 2, 2003 at the Las Vegas
Convention Center. Winners will receive a specially
designed, personalized trophy.
The Association is seeking submissions in the following
categories:
Best Networking Professional - Career Achievement
Award
Most Innovative Networking Project or Implementation
Five recipients in the following subcategories:
- Corporate Fortune X
- Corporate Small Business
- Education
- Government
- Independent Network Contractor
According to the NPA chairman of the board, Jim Belasco,
?The awards are consistent with the NPA mission of
advancing the networking industry toward a profession ? an
international community of technically astute individuals
that analyzes and solves networking challenges while
promoting ethics and standards.? Fritz Nelson, publisher

Deadline for nominations is April 17 and all winners will
