The only problem with applying software and the Internet to the curriculum are we -- the adults. The kids do just fine. And there are plenty of publications that help to show that we don't have to reinvent the wheel. Try Technology & Learning Magazine http://www.techlearning.com or join an organization like ISTE http://www.iste.org which has great publications with application of technology in the curriculum. Or join the Special Interest Section on Instructional Technology of any of your preferred associations. Lots of teachers have done lots of work that should be used. You don't really have to deal with the Internet as "a problem we have to think about" any more.
