Dear IFETS list,

Miksike is a Web based Learning Environment for K-12 schools.

Developing the Miksike vision further requires more or less correct
understanding about processes and trends in online education. So couple
of weeks ago I took some time to write down points which Miksike
considers important to follow concerning the future. Important to the
online learning in general.

This article is just an attempt to formulate the direction wind is
blowing and does not offer any concrete solutions. Its just a try to
figure out the general direction where to search for solutions..... and
as predicting is a risky business... at least one prediction is not
correct.

The purpose of this article is not to change the world (no personal
judgments if we like one or another process/development). Rather it is
an attempt to understand how the world is changing the education and
ourselves. So this article is more written in so called "venture
capitalist's" style who work to satisfy the customer and who are able
and willing to change themselves according to customers (in our case
learners and educators) needs and interests :).
