Greetings IFETS Experts & Engineers of New Era,
I would like to give you some flashes that I recently read in a Magazine
"Scientific Computing World" published in England
(http://www.iop.org/Mags/SCW), In this magazine, it is well said, that
Supercomputing boost in UK, The University of Manchester, in the UK has
taken possession of a new model Cray T3E-12OOE supercomputer, initially
the system will have 576 processors, 148 Gbytes memory and 2 Tbytes
high-performance disk space. Peak performance will be around 700 Gflops/s
with a sustained performance of 122 Gflops/s, (Due to Dr. Ian Horsewell,
Manchester Visualization Centre)
Wishing you a happy reading
