I wondered about the interpretation of learning style also. In elementary
(US) we often refer to learning styles as Robert Sternberg's information
processing or Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences, also, right brain and
left brain. Right brain might refer to processing information through more
of the senses or the "hands-on" type learning or understanding of concepts.
Those right brain students are associated with the type of creative and
scientific discovery types of learners that recall for us the memories of
Einstein and his failures in the public school.
