There has been much discussion about learning styles and how we can accommodate the learning styles of individual students. I would suggest that the learning style is a variable not a constant for students. A student will employ various learning styles based on the content of the material, whether it is new material or refresher material, content interest level, and the general mood of the student. For example, a student who is sick or tired my change his or her learning style.
