I wonder how Constructivism is to figure in these new physics courses.
Radical and Social Constructivism both incorporate sceptical
epistemologies, while most physicists would probably claim that physics
is, in some sense, valid knowledge about an external reality.

So, to the extent that a physics course is to begin to induct the students
into the community of science, a problem arises.

The so-called "Trivial Constructivism" would avoid this impasse, while
still including the Constructivist Metaphor for Learning, and all the
related strategies for teaching.

It would be interesting to see further details on this project.
