CALLing Asia 99: International Conference on Computers and Language
Learning is sponsored by the Japan Association for Language
Teaching--Computer-Assisted Language Learning National Special Interest
Group (JALT CALL N-SIG). It will serve as a forum for the discussion and
exchange of information on research, development, and application of topics
related to computer-assisted language learning and education, and
information & communication technology in general.
We invite you to attend CALLing Asia 99, and to submit proposals for
papers, tutorials, workshops, panels, roundtables, demonstrations/posters,
and N-SIG discussions. Each proposal will be reviewed for inclusion in the
conference program, and possible proceedings book & CD-ROM.
Further details about the conference follow--and we look forward to
receiving your proposal soon.

There will be a Networking Reception on Saturday evening at a cost of 1,500
yen for one day participants. The Networking Reception is free for

Companies or institutions offering computer oriented teaching and learning
materials are invited to exhibit. Please complete and return the Request

Proceedings
-----------
There are plans to publish accepted papers in a conference proceedings. In
addition, selected papers may be invited for publication in the forthcoming
PanAsian CALL book.
