Hi
This is in response to some information about myself. I guess, at the
age of 63, I am considered a non-traditional doctoral student (Ed.D) at the
Univeristy of West Florida, Pensacola, FL, USA.
My life's experiences have been many. Currently, I am in the last
semester of the final core courses for my degree. Only the dissertation
left! Ugh!
One of the current courses is my second Instructional technology course.
This course is completely by computer. The first one for me.
My current concerns are relatively mundane - One, how to find the best
IT programs that can be used by school staff effectively and efficiently;
two, how to encourage school staff to tap the potential of this medium.
I am a retired US Naval chaplain (retired in 1990) and during the past 9
years one of the privileges I had was to be the principal of a small
Catholic school (St Benedict, Elberta, Alabama) and receive my Ed.S. degree
from UWF in 1995.
