Regarding Bill's note that collaborative learning might compensate for the
difficulties a teacher has in trying to accommodate many different learning
styles. There is a small point of logic here I think. If a student cannot
learn from a teacher or a book because it does not conform to their learning
style, how will that same student be able to accommodate the possibly
several learning styles in a study group. I cannot see that the "problem"
of learning styles is solved by passing it from to teacher to students.
