In response to Art's review of WebCT, he comments that the software only
allows you to upload one file at a time. This is true - unless you zip
your files together, upload the zip file and then use the unzip function
within WebCT. Additionally, if you upload a whole course created in
FrontPage or another Web development package, you can completely avoid the
'look' of WebCt. I personally dislike the icons which are provided within
WebCT but a creative department can develop their own icons for specific
links such as the callendar, syllabus, etc. and create their own 'look'.

I have worked on a departmentally pieced together Web server where each
component was selected individually, I have worked with development on
RealEducation's system, and have used WebCT. Each has it's own pros and
cons but for faculty ease of use and confidence, I prefer WebCT.
