As a compromise between two recent postings re: student/computer control of
learning. If the intelligent tutor transparently controls the choice of learning
style for the student, I do not believe you are giving students information to
"become imaginative, creative, independent thinkers." While too much choice may
be harmful, cannot the computer program include an explaination of any decisions
made as it goes along.
