    +++++++++++++++++SORRY FOR CROSS POSTINGS+++++++++++++++++++++++

Dear IFETS FORUM Members,

For all of you, it will be great chance to join our GLDII Workshop
the message I received from Prof. John Hibbs the captain and the barker of
GLDII events..He is a person of promises and man of multicultures..

First, we strongly encourage you to visit http://www.bfranklin.edu/gld98/
where you can find more substantive details about the nature of the
activities on December 19 and 20.

The short of it is these activities can best be described as Global Learn
DayII - Part One- A Workshop.

Global Learn Day, Part Two, a full, real time, audio, video, multi
media webcast will be provided when we can cement agreements well
underway with CISCO and a proven webcaster with the capability to
do what we know is technologically and organizationally
possible. Those talks are well underway and we expect to
announce that GLDII - Part Two - will be held the first week in
February.

Second, we particularly call to your attention those paragraphs at the
Benjamin Franklin site (http://www.bfranlin.edu/gld98) where we say:
WE REGRET THESE CHANGES but we refuse to either quit or to be part of an
activity that will not make us all proud.

WHY THIS WORKSHOP, THIS WEEKEND,IS BETTER FOR ALL

Crew, Keynoters, Harbor Masters, Skiff Hosts will all meet to outline the
tasks ahead. Inside a sophisticated chat room provided Cys Bronner
http://www.worldwithoutborders.com antendees will meet with presenters. as
much to find out how this is all done as to find out what will ultimately
be presented during Part Two...the full multi media event six weeks from
now. In many, ways, particularly for those who are interested in "how the
machinery works", this Workshop will be more informative than Part
Two - The Conference itself.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME.....that virtually every Crew member can meet
every Harbor Master and every Skiff Host...where what will go on is
more akin a "behind the scenes" rehearsal than the stage play. The
previews of the coming attractions, alone, are well worth your time.

THE AUDIENCE WILL CONTRIBUTE

The Workshop is designed as an interactive undertaking where the
principal objectives are for audience, Crew, presenters and keynoters to
all meet in a relatively relaxed atmosphere designed to promote fresh
ideas and better understandings of what this whole undertaking is all
about...and make the ultimate webcast like something never seen or done
before.

FREE WORKSHOP BEGINS THIS WEEKEND!

The Workshop will begin 4pm 19 December Pacific Daylight Time which is
00:01 GMT, 20 December.

Please continue to check http://www.bfranklin.edu and
http://www.worldwithoutborders.com for continuous updates about the
exact schedule. The chat room will move around the world where the
prime imput will come from the Harbor Masters and where viewers may, in
some cases be taken to multi media presentations of an extraordinary
nature.

NOTE TO:CREW, HARBOR MASTERS, SKIFF HOSTS, PRESENTERS, KEYNOTERS

Please accept that the pressures caused by problems in Boulder
and the fall out have prevented me from contacting each of you
individually. I will try to do that today. Please watch your mail,
visit the Franklin site and take part in some of the ongoing activities
inside http://www.worldwithoutborders.com.

NOTE TO READERS:

The above message to the Crew, etc. is designed to encourage you to
particate. On the Voyage, we want all aboard to interactively
involved. THAT is what makes our Voyage so different!

Please feel free to forward this to any lists to which you belong, with
apologies for it's length. And feel free to write directly to me, one
and all.
